Watsons: Stay Healthy From the Inside and Out with Me!


These past few weeks I have been MIA from social media because I was focusing on myself and the things I wanted to do with the time I have offline. Although I was posting less photos and have been online for a short time, I dropped hints on my Instagram stories and posts on how Watsons helped me through my journey of daily productivity while maintaining my good health.    
                               
                                      

Let me just give a brief information of what Watsons is here in the Philippines or Asia, rather. (If you don't know). It's the largest health care and beauty chain in the continent which offers wide variety of health products such as different kinds of medicines for your needs and also caters to every beauty need you have regardless of your gender. Such a paradise for us shoppers, right? For the longest time, I have been a solid recurring customer in Watsons and this time is no different either. 


As a woman who's always on - the - go and faces every problem head on, I had always tried to maintain a healthy life, although failing a few times. This is because this lifestyle forces one to be exposed with pollution and stress which causes too much problems for the health inside and out. A couple of times, I would suddenly have acne breakouts because of work stress and it would be so hard to cure without a solid skincare I could rely on. Another one would be endless nights of suffering from migraines and fever because of my overworked body. And with the rainy season upon us, there are high chances of me catching colds especially with my cold intolerance.


 Lastly, I'm so grateful to have found my skincare and hair care routine from Watsons. With my naturally oily skin, I am prone to breakouts. Thus, having a skincare which battles this helped me tremendously. (Ehem, Celeteque.) For my hair, on the other hand, it's always a problem with my naturally curly hair because it usually has the tendency to be frizzy with just a soft breeze of air. So when I commute, I would be looking like an aswang outside. (P.S. The pictures I posted are by far my favorite products from Watsons.) 

With this said, my journey to maintaining my good health inside and out is still under progress but I'm still glad that I have Watsons to rely on with every step of the way. What's yours?

Paclair Clean Gel - High Quality Skin Care From Japan


          It's been a while since my last post and let me just say that I truly missed blogging and would try to be a little more consistent with my articles in the future. Nevertheless, if you have been a consistent reader on my blog, you would know that I mostly review products that I have tried and tested. Well, if you're new to my site: this is my space where, like I said, review products and write about my thoughts and emotions. Today is no exception since I'm here to write about Paclair Clean Gel.

So what is Paclair Clean Gel?

 It's a high quality all-in-one skin care treatment by Paclair which helps brighten dark spots, eliminates acne and acne scars, has a firming effect, a moisturizer, and can whiten the skin. It has won the International Quality Institute's Monde Silver Award for 2017, an honor which can be compared to the ratings of a hotel. Not only this, it's also made in Japan which we know in general that the quality control is high.

Let's break it down,

First of is the availability and price of the product: You can buy this at Blue Bee One Ph with website at https://bluebeeone.ph/. They have a high number of following and ratings on their facebook account which makes them a trustworthy online seller in my opinion. The price of the products is pricey though, amounting to Php 2,600 plus. But before you click out, read til the end of the article and I'll explain why this is worth it.

Moving on, the packaging is quite simple which I'm okay with. I don't know if I'm the only one but I like how it's in a plastic packaging compared to the normal glass one in expensive skincare products. Believe me, if you're a clumsy person like me, you'll prefer this kind of packaging. Plus, the feel of the plastic looks sturdy so you wouldn't be afraid if ever it falls, repeatedly.

Now let's get on to the product itself. Paclair Gel is made with all natural and organic products so fret not about applying this consistently as it will not burn your skin whatsoever. It's also mild so everyday use is okay. I even sometimes use this thrice a day - day skincare routine, makeup primer, night skin care routine. The product is a clear gel which makes it easy to blend in daytime skincare routine. It's also not heavy on the face so I use it before makeup for my skin protection. For the acne and acne scars, it takes a while before the product takes effect since  it's mild and good for the sensitive skin. The most outstanding quality of this product for me is the moisturizing effect it give my skin. After it dries out on your face, you will feel the difference of softness to your skin compared before you applied the product.

Just a tip, when you're using the product, just get a small amount since it's easy to spread. I have been using mine in a month and it's still in almost half amount from when I received it.

My verdict for this product is I liked it a lot. I have been using this on my skincare and makeup routine. If you have the money to afford this then go for it. After all, your skin is like an investment. Invest on high quality products. I hope this article helped you in deciding which skin care to buy.

Some By Mi Rose Intensive Tone Up Cream Review


It's not a secret that almost everyone of us is hell bent on finding the perfect skincare to fit our needs. There are a lot of steps in Korea skincare and one of them is toning up your skin. Now, just a quick information, a tone up cream is used to brightening up and evening out the skin and is seen widely in whitening products. 

Now, Some by Mi is a popular Korean brand which have tons of products that could cater your every needs from makeup to skincare. You can also search for them in http://www.somebymi.com . 

The product that we will review today is their Rose Intensive Tone Up Cream. Startingg off, it comes with a box and a tube type product. As you can see, the Rose Tone Up Cream has a cute packaging highlighted with a feminine pink color on top and bottom. At first glance, it's an eye catching product.


For the product itself, it has a white cream which is easy to blend. The product is also very light weight which is surprising because it whitens up the skin instantly. With just one swipe, you can already see the result. In addition, the smell is also very mild making it a perfect day lotion. 


This tone up cream is also mild so you can use it anywhere in your face or body which has discoloration. Upon usage, my skin felt soft and smooth which is making this one of my favorite creams.

Oseur Facial Cream Review - Cheapest Anti-Acne EVER?


Pimples or Acne have always been a major 'blemish' problem for most people, including me. Those red bumps are not only a distracting flaw but also a warning of how dirty your skin is. It has various causes, from bacteria to reaction from menstruation (for women), making it one of the most common blemish one can have. Most brands know this, that's why there are many anti-acne or acne prevention products in the market. However, not all of them are effective to most people and it's really hard to find a product that is suitable for your skin. It's kind of a trial and error process, really. You find the product good for you after trying out a couple but to those people who can't afford to keep on buying skin care products for acne prevention, I have a solution for you.


This post is all about Oseur Pearl Facial Cream - an affordable all around cream for the face. It has three variants, the red packaging for the oily and dry skin and the pearl packaging. In this review, I will be focusing on the red packaging for dry skin because I've seen results on this one. For the oily skin and pearl packaging, my skin didn't react well and it caused me breakouts. The dry skin variant is only Php 20- 25 for 10grams, I forgot the exact price. You can buy the Oseur facial cream in any
Mercury drug stores. This gives the buyers an assurance that its FDA approved and somewhat safe to use.


The packaging is not sturdy. It's made of plastic and the cap gets opened easily. I suggest for you to refrain on putting this on your bag because it might open easily. The product, on the other hand, appears yellow but when applied to the skin, it turns white.


In the product description, it is stated that it can be used as a makeup base. I sincerely suggest you to NOT use it during day time as a cream or a makeup base. First, it's oily as seen in the picture above. Second, it's very white and does not match any skin tone. Third, it smells unpleasantly overwhelming. For me, I just use this as a night cream and leave it overnight.


Directions (as stated in the product description given)

Wash with warm water and mild soap before each application. For best results, apply for 2-3 times a day - morning, afternoon and night. Get a small dab of cream by the fingertips and spread over the face. Rub well into the skin until it disappears. Apply extra on the blemishes you have, also can be applied to neck for women. Apply this cream as a make-up base for cosmetics. For men: this cream is an invisible medication that can be worn all day and all night to help dry up, clear pimples and make your skin smooth.

As seen in the picture, there is a huge difference in my face. My pimples really dried up. Although, I haven't seen any difference in my blackheads. In addition, my face did not feel smooth after application, just the same feel I had before. Nevertheless, I bought this for my acne problem and it did the job, it also whitened my face a bit that's why I stopped applying and focused on my neck instead.


Verdict:

 This is probably the cheapest facial cream I've encountered that has positive results. Although, I must warn you that this product needs maintenance because once you stop using it, pimples will emerge. Plus, if you're going to use this, also apply on your neck so that it will both whiten not just your face. (like mine did lol)

Reigns Castor Oil Review and Benefits




Mascaras are lovely to the lashes because it makes them look long and healthy. Plus, it gives make-up lovers bold lashes. However, sometimes putting on make-up everyday can be tiring. In addition, there are instances in which one doesn't have the time to apply cosmetics. Therefore, having a readily long eyelashes can really save time. And who doesn't want naturally long lashes anyway, right?

 Now this is where Castor oil comes in. This product has the capacity to make your hair longer be it lashes, eyebrows etc. Once you apply it, you just have to wait for some time (depends on the person) for it to work. Castor oil is a very popular product here in the Philippines so it's not a hassle for anyone to buy it. But as a suggestion, I bought mine at Reigns Essentials - a beauty brand here in the Philippines. ( I will put the link on where to buy this at the bottom of the post, so don't worry)

A 50ml bottle costs Php 50.00 which is really a steal. If you want to apply this on your lashes, they also sell 15ml clear mascara bottle. Believe me, 50ml can last ages. I haven't even finished my 15ml castor oil in the mascara bottle even though I apply every night for a month already.

 Here are the benefits of Castor oil:

 1.) Long Lashes and Hair, Plus Thicker Brows too!

 - This is actually the main reason why I bought Castor oil. I wanted to have longer lashes which will help me skip applying mascaras for my day to day routine. And we all know, fake lashes can be a hassle sometimes. Plus, it's pretty hard to wait for your lashes to grow naturally without any help. So every night, I took it to heart to diligently apply castor oil every single day. At first, you won't see the results right away but just be patient. All good things take time. Eventually, after a month or so, I saw my lashes grew longer. Believe me, 1mm is a big difference if we're talking about lashes.
 



I haven't tried applying it to my hair and brows yet, but I think that it will have the same results. Besides, I already experienced it with my lashes.

 2.) Cotton Soft Lips

 Ladies and gents, skip your lip balm because we have winner. Applying castor oil on your lips every night can leave it soft and smooth during the day. This in turn, will solve your matte lip cream chapped lips problem. Smooch away!

 3.) Removes Clingy Lippies 

Oh you know, the lippies that are too stubborn to remove.  Castor oil can be a make-up remover for lippies 'only'. Because we don't want to have a hairy face, ayt? Just kidding. But to be safe, avoid applying castor oil all over your face.

Eumora Classic Facial Bar Review


Skin care products are very important in day to day activities. This is because we can buy everything we want but we only have one skin, therefore, its best to give it a huge amount of importance. This is why when I heard about Eumora Classic Facial Bar's product promises, I was ecstatic and immediately signed up for a sample bar to review.


Eumora Classic Bar is a facial soap which is equipped with tons of positive promises; Namely, lose acne, wrinkles, freckles, dull skin, black heads, dark circles, sagging skin and many more. All of these are made possible with their key ingredients:

Moor clay - A thick and black odor free clay which has a lot of herbs, organic compounds, trace elements, plants and floral natural extracts
HMA Microalgae factor -Hydro MicroAlgae Factor is a unique concentration of natural active ingredients, extracted from Micro Algae


 If effective, it's certainly a game changer in the beauty industry. It's priced for $150 (Php 7,642.2) for three bars and $40 (Php 1989.92) for one bar in Amazon. It's very expensive for a facial bar so I really hope that the results are worth the money. The product, on the other hand, is colored gray with a few black dots, it smells like clay which is okay for me. It makes me feel like I'm having a mud mask.

Directions for use:

1. One needs a Eumora bar with water.
2 Wet your hands. Rub the Eumora bar between your hands to create a thick lather. Do not add water directly on the bar itself.
3. Apply gently onto skin, leave on for 3 minutes.
4. Rinse of with water. 


The Eumora sample bar that was given to me was broken so it was a little difficult to rub between my hands. Although, a little piece is good for about a week and its still usable. With how I see the Eumora bar, I think that this sample can last up to a month. Before I tried this, I stopped my face cream every night so as to give way to the Eumora results. Through out my experience, I used this soap twice a day, before going to bed and when I wake up in the morning.

Results:


One week in, I haven't seen a huge amount of difference in my face. Although, I was really surprised to see my eye bags lighten a little. It was always my problem. For my acne problem, I still have them, I haven't really seen the difference in this area. However, my skin tightens whenever I wash my face just like if you're trying out a face mask. It also removes excess oil and is very moisturizing to the face.

Verdict:

I still can't decide if I like this soap, simply because my face doesn't show any huge differences yet. Rest assured, I will continue on using this soap for a month and see if it works for me. Also, we should remember that everyone have different skin types so what happened to me does not necessarily mean that it will also be the same for you. Although, I must say this soap is really expensive and I was hoping it will have fast results.

Prima Sassy Belle - Radiance White Hand & Body Cream Review


Whitening products are a constant rave in the beauty industry.  Tons and tons of variants and choices are seen in every beauty and skin care brand.  What makes it so successful?  That I don't know but the reasons why people buy these kinds of products is their own.  Personally,  I use whitening products to cure uneven skin tone caused by sun burn or natural causes. And I've tried a lot to maintain my fair skin,  however, I have yet to vouch for a successful whitening product.

Now, I'm intrigued with Prima Sassy Belle's product simply because I liked their Curvetrim juice. See review here.

I chose their Radiance White hand and body whitening lotion because I have darker arms than my legs, simply because I wear pants whenever I go outside. I'm hoping that this whitening lotion will be effective. The price of the lotion is Php 370 for 120 ml. It's pretty expensive at first glance than other brands.


Right off the bat,  you'll see that the packaging is for women because of the pink toned and girly theme.  The package is simple and pretty common for a lotion so I don't have any issue with it.  The cap is a twist type and is very easy to open.


Like any other lotion,  the product is white.  What I noticed was the consistency,  it's a little bit watery rather than creamy.


But, what I love about this is a small amount of product goes a long way.  (That's a plus if you're into saving) This is also the reason why I said it's on the expensive side at first glance. In addition,  the smell is SO good.  If you have this,  you don't need to wear perfume anymore because it lasts the whole day.

Results:
As you can see in the picture it did whiten a bit, but not enough.  So it's a little down for the whitening in my experience. On the other hand, it does moisturize your skin well. For me, this lotion focused more on delivering fragrant soft skin rather than achieving a fair skin. However, we never know because I haven't finished the bottle yet. Maybe this lotion does not have a fast whitening effect. Also, we have to include the fact that I usually walk under the sunlight.

 Verdict:
I think that this lotion is worth a try. It did soften my skin really well plus the smell, which is oh so good, really lasts the whole day. But regards to its whitening effect, I have yet to see better results. We all have different skin so maybe it will work faster on others.

Carmex Cult-Fave Original Jar Lip Balm Review


Moisturizers have been one of the go-to products of beauty addicts. Not only can it soften your skin, but it can also be the solution for your long-term dry skin problems. I used to have dry, chapped lips all the time. Especially in instances when I'm always on the go which makes me drink less water than I usually do. When I have this problem, I usually exfoliate my lips and put on a lip balm. So far, I only have one favorite lip balm so I'm open on trying out products to have more choices.

This is why I was attracted to the Carmex moisturizing lip balm line. Initially, I wanted to buy the tube type packaging, however, it was out of stock back then. Thus, I just opted to purchase this Cult-Fave original jar for 139 pesos at Beauty MNL ph.



At first glance, it really looks classic. It has that oldie kind of packaging. Surprisingly, I love how it's designed. It makes you want to trust the brand because it gives off the feeling that they've been manufacturing for a long time. (Which they are -- Since 1937) This makes the product reliability high. If I was given a choice, I would have bought the other packaging because jars are really hard to handle. You have to either use cotton buds or clean finger when applying it to avoid any infection. However, what I love about this packaging is it's really sturdy and small. It's easier to carry on - the - go.


Although the product appears to be yellow, it comes off as colorless when you apply it on your lips. It's very smooth and it glides well on your lips. It does have a tingly mint feeling once applied but it's okay. I have a little problem with the smell though, It has that unexplainable fragrance, like mint and butter combined. If it makes it better, you get used to it after a while. For the product effectivity, it does relieve chapped lips. However, in my experience, you have to continuously use it in order for it to work. For the week that I've been using it, my chapped lips healed. But after I stopped, my lips became dry again. You can't really expect too much if you use any product scarcely. You have to maintain a beauty regimen for it to work long term. 

Verdict:
I love this lip balm. It does the job well. However, it's a bit pricey for 139 pesos. I'm comparing the price to my go-to favorite lip balm. If I find a shop that sell much cheaper than 139 pesos, I will definitely buy this again.

Moist Skin Care: Strawberry Moisturizing Mask Sheet Review


This cold weather we're having this week makes me want to sleep all day and just relax. Although, as much as I enjoy this cold weather, I just want the rain to stop. Since it's really becoming dangerous and hassle to go outside. So before I start my review, let me just remind you guys to be careful outside when it's raining so hard.

Anyway, this review is about another mask that I've tried. I'm really not into masks because I don't feel too comfortable with it. BUT I bought this because of its cheap price. Moist Skin Care Strawberry Moisturizing Mask Sheet is only 29 pesos and I bought it at New Star grocery store at Calamba, Laguna. I'm not really sure if this is safe since it's really cheap and I haven't heard of Moist Skin Care brand before. But I saw that it has a stamp of BFAD approved so I guess it's pretty safe but we're never too sure. All skin care products (even high end brands) are always a risk to us because we're not sure if our skin fits the product. Or in the Philippines we say "hiyang".

Product Description: Rich in strawberry extracts that contain the anti-oxidant ellagic acid which prevents collagen destruction.

The product description sounds really promising. Plus, the packaging is really nice. It kind of reminds me of korean masks because of the texture. It's a plus for the product. It does not look cheap at all.


A part of the ingredients was actually covered by the price. (Sorry) Anyway, the back of the packaging looks common. It has guidelines which is really neat if you're a mask virgin.


This is the BFAD approved stamp which alleviates your worry a little bit. AND look at the expiration date (I think), 2020/05/22 which is a really long time from now so you can leave it in your fridge forever...(haha just kidding). Although, I'm not really sure of this product's availability nationwide since I haven't heard of this brand before so if you guys know where to buy this other than New Star then comment down below. :)


Once you bought a mask, make sure to put it in the fridge so it will cool. Anyway, when you open the product, it has a white mask inside. Wash your hands and face first before putting this on to prevent bacteria. It smells really nice like strawberry which is really relaxing and great.

The mask is really soft which is great because you can relax more. Plus, it's a little large for me because it has excess but it's a good thing. It means that it can fit on everyone's faces. So I left it on for 15 minutes and just let it absorb in my skin. Then I removed the mask after and massaged my face for 20 minutes. The directions stated that you can leave it without washing it off. So I did, but after 40 minutes, it started to itch so I rinsed it off. Fortunately, I did not have any breakouts from this.

Verdict:

I'm not totally in love with this product since I did not feel any results and it did itch after 40 minutes. But maybe you guys can have a better experience than me. After all, we're all different. Plus, it's really cheap so if it works for you it will be a great dupe for all the expensive masks out there.

Kinoki Kiyome Detox Foot Patch Review


WEW! That was a loooong title. Hey guys! So as promised on my divisoria haul video (watch it here) , I am posting a review on this Kinoki Kiyome Detox Foot Patch. Just a recap, I bought this because when I was looking for a salon pas, a woman passed by me and said that this patch was really good. Thus, I bought it out of curiosity. Why not try it when it only costs 25 pesos right?

This is how it looks like:


The packaging is just normal. It has 10 pads so you can use it 5 times.

(Only one night black and oily toxins come out from the volal)
The product promises the following:
 - Dispels toxins and maintain beauty
 - Relax muscles & tendons and eliminate internal moisture
 - Replenish vital essence and strengthening the kidney
 - Shape and beautify body
 - Promote sleeping and relieve fatigue
 - Beautify feet and clear odor

 For the first impression, I'm really amazed by the claims this product have. As you can see, it's like an all in one patch which can relieve muscles, shape the body and promote sleeping. HOWEVER, It's kind of hard to believe its claims since it seems too good to be true but will see. Thus, I'm a little skeptical about this product.




You apply it like a normal salon pas, stick the adhesive side of the small bag to the patch and then place it in the middle of your foot.

What I noticed is that I didn't have to play a game or read a book to be sleepy like I normally do. I fell asleep after a little while. I don't know if it's because of the patch or because of something else. That's just what I noticed.

WARNING: Gross picture ahead (for the results)


If you've seen the gross picture then you'll see that the oily black liquid was supposed to be the toxins that the patch absorbed from my body. After seeing the results, I was impressed so I searched it on the web. BUT I was surprised to see that a lot of sites have been claiming that this product is a scam. They even have scientific explanations to prove their claims. (You can also search it on the web) I don't know what to believe but in my experience as a consumer, I did not feel any major difference in my body. Maybe because it's my first time trying it? I don't know.

In summary,

 Pros
- It's very cheap
- Black liquid (toxins) really do appear overnight.

Cons
- Might be a spam
- A pain to remove
- Messy if you're not wearing socks.

Verdict:
I just bought this product to try it out. I'm not amazed by it simply because I did not feel anything after I used it. If you guys still want to try it out for yourselves since it's so cheap anyways, be sure to wear socks because it will stain. I was surprised the next morning when I woke up, my bed has black spots all over my feet area. Also, it's messy when you remove it so I suggest for you guys to peel it in the bathroom.

Nivea Creme Review



 "Soft and smooth" are common adjectives that most people associate with their ideal skin type. I for one would love having that satin smooth and cotton soft skin. Normally, we achieve this by purchasing an effective moisturizer. It led me to this Nivea Creme all around moisturizer which has a lot of positive reviews online. It intrigued me because a lot of people are recommending this product. Even my family loved this so I decided to try this out. Nivea Creme is an all around moisturizer which means that it can be applied anywhere you want it to. In this review, I tested it out in my face, lips and hair.







First let's start with the packaging and price. Is it affordable or expensive? Well, for a moisturizer it has a normal price. It's not that expensive and not that cheap either. It's kind of in the middle. It has three sizes: 30, 60 and 150 ml. The prices are 74, 127 and 214 pesos respectively.

Now let's move on with the cream. So this is how it looks like on my skin.





What I like about the product is that it's really thick. So a small amount can go a long way. However, this can also be a disadvantage which I will explain later. The color of the cream is a normal white as you can see in the picture. But it blends really well on the skin so it's not a problem as a day cream. The smell, on the other hand, is unpleasant (for me) but not that strong. It smells like an old perfume or powder if you know what I mean. It's not a big deal to me because It's just subtle and not overpowering.

For the face, I tried using this as a night moisturizer and a make up primer. It's not good as a make up primer since it's really oily and thick when you put it on. So I don't recommend this as a day cream either. I'm not sure if the reason why it's so oily is because the weather is humid out here but if you guys want you can try this out. In my experience, it work well if used as a night moisturizer before you sleep since it stays on overnight. It did moisturized my face a little after I used it for a week but I didn't feel a major effect on my face. Maybe if you use this longer, you will see better results.

On the other hand, I recommend this for a lip moisturizer or if you're going to exfoliate your lips. It moisturized my lips really well that it was like putting on a clear lip balm. (P.s. it adds glow as well so you can use this as an alternative lip balm. You have to use a tiny tiny amount so as the white color will not accumulate to your lips.)

I recommend this as a hair leave on as well. I use this on my hair everyday after I take a bath and it leaves my hair soft and tame all day.

In summary:

Pros
  - Price is okay
  - Moisturizes well
  - Thick consistency (small amount can go a long way)
  - very flexible ( all around moisturizer)
 - Can be used as a Make-up remover

Cons
  - smells kind of unpleasant but not too overpowering
  - thick ( weighs down on the face as a day cream or primer)
  - oily ( not good as a primer)

Verdict:
I will buy this product again because it works well on my hair. PLUS, it can be used as an alternative make up remover. Although, I won't use this as a face moisturizer because It's not comfortable in the face.
